Puppy Raisers of UD
We are P.R.O.U.D. (Puppy Raisers of the University of Delaware) We just became a registered organization in Spring of 2005. Here at the university we have the opportunity to raise puppies for the Seeing Eye. They live on campus with us in our dorms, apartments, or houses. We take them to our classes and other campus activites to get them socially exposed.
Upcoming Meeting Dates
We will be meeting during Winter Session.- * Wednesday, January 25th @ 7:30 p.m. Location: 219 Trabant Center

Puppy Points
Here are a few pointers from the Seeing Eye for Puppy Raisers:- 1. Take your Identification card with you at all times.
- 2. We do not encourage you to take your puppies to food stores and restaurants.
- 3. Absolutely NO ESCALATORS should ever be used with the puppies.
- 4. Remember that we have the privilege to take these puppies in public places, and someone who is blind has the right to
have that guide dog with them.
- 5. If any business does not give you permission, you should simply say "thank you" and try somewhere else.

Hi Katie,
I happened to come across your blog today. I think it's amazing that you have so many puppyraisers at your school. I am also fostering a service dog puppy (a standard poodle named Calvin) while at university. I look forward to reading more about your club.
